On Track School

From 8th grade through his junior year in high school Ryder attended On Track School.

We decided to switch to an online school because as many of you know it gets difficult dealing with public schools when you don't play a traditional sport. They aren't as forgiving when it comes to absences, regardless of your child's performance. 

After researching different options we chose On Track. Although they are online, you still have the benefit of having teachers, deadlines, etc without the strict schedule of attending classes. It allows you to have the flexibility needed to train, travel, and excel in your sport.  Andrea Leib and her staff are amazing!

Ryder went back to public school his senior year. He chose this because he had surgery in the fall and was going to be off the bike for a few months. He wanted to reconnect with his friends from middle school and experience being in high school.  If he would not have been injured I believe he would have stayed with On Track.
